5 down, 5 to go

A very cool thing if you happen to do a drive by - the first floor is so tall, that it perfectly matches up with the light rail's site lines. if you are standing on Monroe Street and looking at Metrostop when the train goes by, you can enjoy an uninterupted view of the light rail coming and going. It appears as if it's driving straight through the building. Very cool. Hopefully when construction is finished, they will keep the sight lines open with clever use of glass, so everyone can enjoy the illusion.

Regarding shadows - it seems that in the late afternoon, as the sun sets over the cliffs, there will be some shadowing.

It does cause a shadow at sundown...I actually prefer it...the apt got too hot before...I ust hope the new building on Monroe doesn't ruin everything for Fileds crossing...views shadows etc...
